Answers to blog questions
A. What does ''blog'' mean?
A blog is a website that consists of posts in reverse chronological order that contain features such as, comments and links for the interactivity of the user
B. Define ''blogging''.
Blogging is when the user writes a post for a blog in order to be published.
C. What is the difference between a blog and a book?
The difference between a blog and a book are that: A blog is a website on Internet that works as a ''folder'' to keep your writings saved. In a blog you are allowed to edit and add new stuff you wish to publish. While a book is physical, not on Internet. And the book may not be changed, neither are you able to add new writings to it.
D. How have blogs changed recently?
Blogs are currently used globally for the purpose of not only being a diary, but are now used to impacts fields such as politics, business and society, with the words a blogger is able to post.
E. Why might you read a blog?
Personally, I would read a blog that inspires me. The content needs to be impacting and it needs to capture my attention as reader. If the blog does not contain posts that are of my interest, then I won't even mind reading it.
F. Is there a reason to doubt the objectivity of a blog? Why? Why not?
I don't think there is a reason to doubt the objectivity of a blog. After all, the writers are publishing what they wish to express to people. Unless the topics about the blog are violent, contain sex, or such, then I don't see the point of doing a blog like that, and I don't see why people would even want to read it, that is not inspiring.
G. What do you think our blog will be about this semester?
I'm really not sure what it will be about. It will obviously have to do with the class, but I do hope we are able to write about the topics that we are interested in. Because I, as reader and writer prefer to be able create things of my interest.
